Today, ERT, the greek national broadcaster officially announced the three songs, which will compete to represent the country in Eurovision Song Contest 2008, in May in Belgrade. The national final will take place on 27th of February. So, let’s listened to the songs:

Yesterday, two of the three candidate songs to represent Greece in Eurovision Song Contest, leaked on the internet, before the official announcement on Wednesday, 6th of February. These were the songs of Kostas Martakis and Kalomoira. Of course, there were reactions, but ERT, the national broadcaster reported that the two songs won’t be disqualified.
I had decided not promote these two songs, before the official announcent, as we are missing the third one. But not only on the internet, but even most of the tv channels, play them all day, so I think this post won’t be a problem!

Microsoft announced its intention to buy Yahoo! search engine offering the incredible amount of approximately $44.6 billion, or $31 per share. This price is 62% over the price of the share now, althought it’s still less than the higher of the year, which was $34,08, achived at the end of October.
The reaction of Wall Street was extremely positive. The share price of Yahoo! bounced back 47%, in contrast with Microsoft’s share, which collapsed 6%, because the proposal was reputed as extreme.
Many people believe, that it’s really difficult the two companies to be combined, because of the differences in bussiness culture and activities.
